Pratt Institute
One of the main focuses of Project CHART is to train Pratt-SILS students to become Digital Managers in a cultural heritage institutions such as libraries, museums, and historical societies. The Pratt-SILS students selected to participate in Project CHART are a diverse, energized, and technically adept group of interns with an interest in Cultural Informatics. Their teamwork, dedication and enthusiasm was essential in the creation of the Brooklyn Visual Heritage website.

Kenyetta Dean attended the MSLIS program at the Pratt Institute. As part of her degree program, she completed the 18-credit digital management for cultural heritage curriculum with support from the IMLS. Prior to entering Pratt she completed her BSc in Professional Management from NOVA Southeatern University. During her CHART internship she digitized the Frank J. Trezza collection, The Brooklyn Prohibition collection, and the Eberhard Faber Pencil Factory collection. She attended the annual SAA conference in 2011 as part of her internship.

Prior to entering Pratt she completed her B.A. in Political Science from Columbia Unversity. Cassie Mey attended the MSLIS program at the Pratt Institute. As part of her degree program, she completed the 18-credit digital management for cultural heritage curriculum with support from the IMLS. Prior to entering Pratt she completed her B.A. in Dance from Mills College in Oakland, California. During her CHART internship she digitized the Ralph Irving Llyod lantern slides and the Otto Dreschmeyer Brooklyn Slides. She attended the annual conference for the Association for Recorded Sound collections as part of her internship.

Prior to entering Pratt she completed her B.A. in Psychology from Oklahoma State University and her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from University of North Texas. During her CHART internship she digitized the DUMBO Waterfront slides, and the William Koch glass negatives. She attended the ARLIS annual conference as part of her internship.

Marina Kastan attended the MSLIS program at Pratt Institute. As part of her degree program, Marina completed the 18-credit Digital Management for Cultural Heritage curriculum with support from the IMLS. Prior to entering Pratt she completed her BA in Art History from Wesleyan University. During Marina's CHART internship, she digitized the Brooklyn Lantern Slide collection, photographs of the Weil-Worgelt apartment, and [Views of Brooklyn : a collection of photographs]. Marina attended the American Library Association (ALA) conference (2011) as part of her internship.
Caroline LeFevre attended the MSLIS program at Pratt Institute. As part of her degree program, Caroline completed the 18-credit Digital Management for Cultural Heritage curriculum with support from the IMLS. Prior to entering Pratt she completed her BFA in Photography and BA in Art History from Indiana University. During Caroline's CHART internship she processed and digitized a discrete portion of the Archives photography collection, including photographic prints, glass negatives, slides and transparencies of interior images of the museum building. Caroline attended the South by Southwest Interactive conference (2013) as part of her internship.
Matthew Miller attended the MSLIS program at Pratt Institute. As part of his degree program, Matthew completed the 18-credit Digital Management for Cultural Heritage curriculum with support from the IMLS. Prior to entering Pratt he completed his BA in Art History from Ohio State University. During Matthew's CHART internship, he digitized the Brooklyn Lantern Slide collection and photographs of the Alexander M. White House. Matthew attended the DCMI International Conference on Dublin Core and Metadata Applications (2011) as part of his internship.
Veronica Rodriguez attended the MSLIS program at Pratt Institute. As part of her degree program, she completed the 18-credit Digital Management for Cultural Heritage curriculum with support from the IMLS. Prior to entering Pratt she completed her BA in Art History from University of Illinois at Chicago. During her CHART internship, Veronica digitized collections of trade and advertising cards. Veronica attended the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference (2012) as part of her internship.
Jennifer Ruocco attended the MSLIS program at Pratt Institute. As part of her degree program, Jennifer completed the 18-credit Digital Management for Cultural Heritage curriculum with support from the IMLS. Prior to entering Pratt she completed her BA in Fine Arts/Art History from Stonehill College. During Jennifer's CHART internship she digitized Brooklyn's garden : views of picturesque Flatbush, [Brooklyn views : a series of postcards], A collection of pictures of Brooklyn, Postcard views of Prospect Park and Greenwood Cemetery, and Postcard views of Brooklyn.
