Caption: "Death-dealing toys--These guns are all homemade, have figured in a Brooklyn murder and other crimes, and are in the possession of the office of District Miles F. McDonald. The regular 'zip' gun, center, was converted from a toy airplane launcher. On right is a lethal weapon made of two blocks of wood, a door hook, and a rubber band. At the left are converted cowboy and cap pistol guns, which frequently are advertised for sale in comic books."
