Caption on verso: "Founding Mother: Chairman of the library committee is Mrs. Helen Jurow of 5817 Glenwood Road, shown above tidying up twin stacks of books. Her committee of 20 mothers gathered more than 1,300 books through a bazar and solicitations -- 'but we couldn't have succeeded without the wonderful co-operation of Sara Dolgin, the project manager, who supplied the furniture and repair work.'"
