Two small, three-story, wood-frame, shingled houses with large American flags on porches and six signs on steps, shubbery, driveway, and lawn. Inscription: "474 [with awning over front porch] and 470 East 8th St., part of 25 homes to be torn down to make room for new school [J.H.S. 62, Cortelyou Road and East 7th Street]."
