They are, left to right, Jimmy Kirkpatrick, six months, healthiest boy; Diana Valek, 13 months, prettiest girl; Valerie Matteis, 13 months, healthiest girl, and Francesco Materrese, nine months, handsomest boy. The winners received paid-up war stamp books, which may be exchanged for bonds. The contest was held to stimulate interest among parents to purchase war stamps and bonds for their babies."
