T.T. Williamsburgh in dry dock number 6, looking forward engine room section. Main engine is a 45,000 H.P. steam turbine, built by DeLava in center. Round cutout is for the shaft going to the propeller. The room above the engine with the two windows cut out is the Central Operating Station used to run the engine room which was automated. Left section painted orange is the the port fuel oil wing tank for the boilers [from Frank J. Trezza's notes].
